The Santa Barbara Lifestyle
It’s great to be in Santa Barbara, California for a June vacation. Although the mornings are a bit overcast the afternoon weather is incredible! Yesterday we were boating in the bay…a truly fantastic experience, complete with Dolphins jumping and teasing us just off the bow.
Santa Barbara, is about lifestyles. Its temperate climate, oceanside setting and fantastic real estate, shopping and dining make a wonderful place to live, work and yes, visit.
In addition, as a part of our visit to the area, my family and I traveled via highway 154 to the Santa Ynez Valley, where we were able to engage in some wine tasting and dining; just a thirty minute drive and very delightful.
Real estate values are holding up in Santa Barbara, California, despite downturns in other California markets. Average selling price is about $1,250,000 and estates in excess of $25 million.
We’ll definitely be back! We love the lifestyle, climate and business opportunities.
